ABOUT THE STUDIO
Founded in 2007, Kim Lambert Design is a distinguished Toronto-based full-service interior design studio specializing in highly customized spaces.
Inspired by art, architecture, fashion and nature we bring a fresh vision to every new project, as each is a journey unto it’s own. We work closely with our clients bringing an informed approach to realize ideas and concepts. By collaborating with artists, architects, cabinet-makers and various specialized trades, and through curating and designing custom unique pieces, we turn visions into reality. How a space functions is as important to us as establishing a visual language that ultimately becomes the storyline.
We thrive on ideation and the creative dialogue between all individuals involved and our tireless curiosity often takes us to the unexpected. We love what we do and are committed to the highest level of quality in every part of the design process.
ABOUT KIM
Principal and Creative Director Kim Lambert is ever-passionate about the vibe and curious about the narrative.
Kim’s design career began over 20 years ago in the world of global luxury and boutique hospitality design. With an affinity for contemporary compositions, her studio choreographs with restraint and endeavours to create spaces that are timeless with quiet sophistication, refined yet soulful, considered yet inviting.

I like to explore the interplay of materials, texture, light and volume along with their innate characteristics and connection with the audience. We use ornamentation sparingly to intrigue, elevate and let pieces sing quietly, without interruption. Less is always more, a curated composition is everything.
OUR PROCESS
From conception to realization.
It all starts with a dialogue that sets expectations between client and designer, with the end goal of establishing a design process tailored to the project. Our process is thoughtful, collaborative, transparent and thorough.
A detailed scope of work outlines the various phases where we determine a wish list of items, set a program in place, explore concepts, and then refine a selection of ideas into well-developed design.
Project management and on-site monitoring ensure that even smallest details are given the utmost attention.
